How it works
- Analyze ZIP: upload a ZIP by dragging it in or browsing your device, then browse the file tree, view code and text files, and check per-file details.
- Create ZIP: add files or a whole folder, arrange them, optionally set a password, then create and download a brand-new ZIP.
- Password-protected ZIPs are detected automatically in Analyze mode and unlock in place once you enter the correct password.
Supported files
Works with general ZIP archives of any kind — documents, images, source code, WordPress plugins and themes, website projects, backups, or mixed personal files. Source and text files are shown exactly as they appear in the archive — nothing is rewritten or summarized. Images show a quick preview and dimensions. Nested archives (ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR, GZ) are identified but not extracted.
Password-protected ZIPs
In Analyze mode, encrypted ZIPs are detected and you can unlock them by entering the correct password; incorrect passwords or unsupported encryption methods are reported clearly, and passwords are never stored. In Create mode, password protection uses only an encryption method this server's ZIP library genuinely supports — never a fake or misleading one.
Privacy & security
Files are processed only for the operation you request and are never sent to any third-party or AI service. Uploaded/created files are temporary and are automatically cleaned up shortly after your session ends. Uploaded content is never executed or included as code, only read and displayed. Please avoid uploading highly confidential files unless you understand this site's processing policy.
Limitations
ZIP analysis is limited to 50 MB per file. Password-protected ZIP creation is limited to 200 MB since it is processed on the server. Basic static code indicators are pattern-based only and are not a complete security scan.

Does this tool use any AI or external service?
No — all ZIP analysis and creation happens on this website's own server, or directly in your browser for unprotected Create ZIP. Nothing is sent to any third-party or AI service.
Can it recover a lost ZIP password?
No. This tool never attempts to crack, bypass, or guess passwords, and it never will.
What kinds of files can I put in a ZIP I create?
Any general file type — documents, images, source code, spreadsheets, and more. Files are treated as plain data and are never executed.
Is a password-protected ZIP really encrypted?
Yes. The tool only uses an encryption method that this server's ZIP library is verified to genuinely support (AES-256 where available, otherwise traditional ZipCrypto), and it always states which method was used.
